The organiser invites visitors to the next edition from 19 to 25 July 2027 and says the 50th anniversary festival runs for seven days, an exception to its usual length.
It calls itself the largest open-air festival in Switzerland and an independent non-profit association since 1976, and says it was named best major festival in Europe in 2025. Thousands of volunteers carry the event. The 2026 edition ran from 21 to 26 July.
